East County Bridges
At ECB, we inspire and empower all youth to be the drivers of their education and lives.
We provide individualized and culturally-appropriate resources and educational opportunities to ensure all East County students have the support they need to complete high school and begin their careers.
How we support you
Together, we’ll assess your academic status and your non-academic needs and develop a holistic, personalized plan for high school completion with wrap-around support.
Once we’ve established a plan that best fits your needs, including options like alternative and charter schools, we’ll help through the re-enrollment process.
We’ll be with you every step of the way: providing support through ongoing case management, connection to community resources, and reducing barriers so you feel empowered to complete high school.

More than just a bridge.
East County Bridges is a pathway of support for students who have dropped out, are low-attending, or otherwise disengaged, as well as their families. Our vision is to see youth actively engaged in their education, connected to culturally relevant resources, and fully supported by their communities. By closing achievement gaps, increasing high school completion rates, and fostering family leadership, ECB equips students with the tools to shape their own futures.
Culturally specific programming
ECB is dedicated to increasing access, connection, and educational opportunities for youth experiencing disconnection. Culturally specific programs like Puente Hacia El Futuro, Bridging Island Futures (BIF), and Bars to Bridges (B2B) address the specific needs of these students, and ensure that they are not only reconnected with education but also supported in embracing their cultural identities while pursuing academic success.
