Our mission
Our mission is to inspire and empower all youth to have agency over their education and their lives.
We provide multi-faceted and culturally-appropriate resources and educational opportunities to ensure all East County students have the support they need to complete their education.
We are re-engagement specialists.
Through ECB’s re-engagement programming, we (re)connect students with the right district, improve engagement and outcomes, and simplify the educational system for students and families so that they can take charge of their education and future.
We offer:
Individual Case Management
Outreach to Out-of-School Youth
Re-Engagement Events

Culturally specific programs
Puente Hacia El Futuro
Puente Hacia El Futuro programming is a culturally specific project committed to the empowerment and educational transformation of Latino/a/x and Indigenous Mexican, Central American, South American, and Caribbean youth in East County. Utilizing a three-pronged approach that encompasses academic support, social-emotional learning, family and community engagement, culturally responsive pedagogy, and pathways to higher education, aligned with SSP goals.
Bridging Island Futures
Bridging Island Futures (BIF), part of East County Bridges (ECB), provides programming for brighter futures for East Multnomah County and Clackamas County Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (NHPI) youth in kindergarten through high school and their families. BIF is a culturally specific project committed to the empowerment and educational transformation of NHPI youth through fostering, strengthening pathways to higher education, promoting student success, and enhancing family and community leadership.
Bars to Bridges
Bars to Bridges (B2B), a Multnomah Education Service District (MESD) program, provides positive culturally responsive educational transitions and career support to justice system-involved and justice system-impacted youth who identify as African American, Black, Bi-racial and/or Multi-racial (AAB) and their family members. Using the Academic Success, Culture, Identity, Language Leadership Development, and Coordinated Systems of Care pillars, B2B actively (re)connects youth with educational programming, and advocates for equitable educational and cultural experiences through outreach, wrap-around support, and culturally relevant interagency practices.
We’re here to help you succeed.
